My impression is that "long shot" means volly from outside the penalty area -> Just personal impression, no guarantee
The long shot attribute of my Alves is 16, not too bad, and to my experience Dutch teams are pretty often attactively-minded with GK easily comes forward (especially when the opponents are behind). In this situation Alves is pretty good to collect long-range pass from defenders and try long shots without un-necessary movements.
Amazingly Yussuf is pretty good in long shots in my team as well (attribute = 14)!
